St. Lucia

St. Lucia has many waterfalls which tumble down the mountains from the rainforests.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This plantation house is on the Errard Plantation. The plantation grows cocoa,
bananas and spices. Errard is on the west side of the island. It was a long rough ride to get here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

St. Lucia has little geckoes. In the rain forest live boa constrictors and the deadly Fer de Lance snake. Fortunately we didn't see any of these.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the Fond d'Or valley. That rock formation is the Mabouye Man- it looks like a big stone face. The Carib Indians worshipped it.

Many beautiful flowers grow on St. Lucia.
