1. JAMES BROOMALL (DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born February 06, 1765. He married HANNAH DUTTON October 11, 1798, daughter of THOMAS DUTTON and HANNAH ROUTH . JAMES died March 12, 1838 ,age 73, and was buried at Middletown Friends' Burial Ground on March 13, 1838. He was a farmer, and inherited his father's land in Thornbury Twp.

2. THOMAS D. BROOMALL (JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born August 05, 1799 in Thornbury Twp., Delaware Co. PA, and died October 15, 1865. He married MARY D. CARTER January 21, 1836. MARY was born MArch 31, 1810 and died May 5, 1900. They are both buried in Cumberland Cemetery, Lima PA. (Middletown Twp, Delaware Co.)

HOMAS BROOMALL and MARY CARTER are:
i. MARK BROOMALL , b. 1837; d. October 8, 1863. MARK mustered into Co. B, 20th Rgt PA Cavalry for 6 mo. 1863-4 at Harrisburg Pa on June 25, 1863 as a Private. This unit sebsequently became Co. F, 20th Rgt PA Cavalry. He appears in the Co. muster Roll dated August 31, 1863. On Sept 7th he was "Missed in Action at Bath, Morgan Co VA (WV). He was taken prisoner and confined at Richmond on Sept. 12, 1863. He was admitted to Hospital 21 at Richmond on October 8, where he died the same day of Pneumonia. Unmarried.

3. JOHN BROOMALL (JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born July 06, 1800. He married (1) SARAH WEBB August 29, 1826. They had an infant which died June 16, 1827, and SARAH died two days later. JOHN married (2) HANNAH MATSON, born about 1803, daughter of AARON and MARY MATSON, on January 29, 1828. HANNAH died January 9th, 1838 and was buried at Middletown January 10, 1838. He married (3) LYDIA N. WAY September 18, 1845. JOHN died September 15, 1872, and was buried at Middletown on the 17th..

4. ABRAHAM BROOMALL (ABRAM) (JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born July 20, 1801, and died June 20, 1875. . PA. He married ANNA (ANNIE) MONKS March 04, 1847. ANNIE was born October 29, 1810, and died June 26, 1882. They are both buried in Cumberland Cemetery, Lima, Middletown Township, Delaware Co PA.

5. DANIEL BROOMALL (JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born June 23, 1802, and died March 30, 1887 in Thornbury Twp, Delaware Co. PA.. Buried Middletown. He married SARAH ANN BAKER December 27, 1827, daughter of CYRUS and HANNAH BAKER. SARAH was born January 26, 1806, and died December 27, 1886. They are both buried at Middletown Friends Burial Ground, Delaware Co., PA.

6. DAVIS BROOMALL (THOMAS D . 5, JAMES 4, D NIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born October 21, 1839, and died July 16, 1896 in Chester Co. PA. He married PRISCILLA (PRISCIE) REES, who was born May 24, 1846 and died September 27, 1886, as a result of complications of birth of a stillborn child. Davis participated in horseracing and foxhunting. He had a pack of hounds and hunted from Howellville Tavern (now Gradyville.) He was the proprietor of the Plumstock Tavern in Edgmont. DAVIS and PRISCILLA are both buried Cumberland Cemetery, Lima, Delaware Co. PA.

8. JAMES BROOMALL (DANIEL 5, JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born July 28, 1840, Thornbury Twp. Delaware Co. PA, and died February 1915 in Glen Mills Delaware Co. PA. He married ANNA B. WORRALL July 19, 1865, daughter of JOHN WORRALL and SARAH P . _____. James was a farmer. His early life was spent on his father's farm. While yet in his teen he began selling in the Philadelphia markets and excepting a few interruptions, was a weekly attendant thereat for approximately half a century. In 1886 he purchased a farm a few miles from his birthplace.He was keenly interested in local educational affairs and held the office of school director. He participated in the Lyceum, which held weekly meetings in the winter. He was a member of the farmers' organization The Patrons of Husbandry. He was a birthright member of the Society of Friends. The last few years of his life he was an invalid due to paralysis brought on by a fall, yet he rocovered so that he could walk around the house and tend to his daily needs. He is buried at Middletown Meeting Burial Ground.

9. ROBERT MATHER BROOMALL (DAVIS 6, THOMAS D . 5, JAMES 4, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born Abt. 1878, and died February 01, 1923. He married LAURA C. PENNELL March 09, 1904 at the Methodist Episcopal Parsonage, Berwyn. He was the proprietor of the William Penn Hotel at Providence Rd. and West Chester Pike. Like his father, he was interested in foxhunting, and appears on the guest list of a landowners' picnic at the Radnor Hunt Club in 1912.
