was born October 18, 1798 in Thornbury PA He married RACHEL BAKER, born January
2, 1801, daughter of JOSHUA BAKER and ELEANOR
CURRY. Sometime between 1821 and 1824, James and his family
moved to Gloucester Co. NJ, where several of his children, were born. They
returned to Chester county before 1835. James died July 15, 1838 in Natchez
Mississippi. Rachel died April 17, 1876 and is buried at Hepzibah Baptist
Church, East Fallowfield Twp., Chester Co. PA.

was born April 05, 1824 in East Fallowfield Twp., Chester Co. PA. He married
JANE TAYLOR April
15, 1851. He died September 17, 1872, and is buried at Hepzibah Baptist
Church, East Fallowfield, Chester Co. PA. During the Civil War, JASON served
as First Lieutanant, Co. A of the 12th Regiment Militia. This was called
up in September 11-16, 1862 to stop a possible Rebel invasion and was immediately
disbanded in Septemeber 25-27. 1862. JASON
and his children seem to have retained the
-ALL spelling of the surname.
