1. MARY EDWARDS 6 LEWIS (HANNAH S.5 TEMPLE, RACHEL 4 BROOMALL, DANIEL 3, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born March 18, 1830. She married GEORGE FAWKES BRINTON, probably about 1851 since she was about 21 and a child is born in 1853. Mary survived her husband and was still alive in July 1911 when her daughter Helen's obituary was published. According to this obituary, Mary and George had at least three daughters who survived to adulthood and married. Their exact birth order is not known, but Helen was probably the first since she was born in 1853. They are listed below in the order they are mentioned in Helen's obituary. GEORGE FAWKES BRINTON was probably born in the 1820s and died in West Chester, Chester Co., Pa. about 1909.
