12. PHILENA MAE (GRIST) BROOMELL, (WILLIAM C. 6, DANIEL 5, ISAAC 4, DANIEL 3 BROOMALL, JOHN 2, JOHN 1) was born August 8, 1869 in PA, and died. July 28, 1928 in Rising Sun, Maryland. She married MERRITT FRANCES PIERCE born December 22, 1867 in Maryland and died Apr 03, 1934 in Rising Sun, Maryland, son of JOHN THOMAS PIERCE and CATHERINE SHANK. MERRITT was the second cousin of ALICE PIERCE, who married SAMUEL LEE BROOMELL, PHILENA's brother.
