Descendants of Thomas Broomhall b 1815

We do not know who the parents of this Thomas Broomhall are. I suspect he may be a son of James, son of Kidnapped John Broomhall- ABW.

Generation No. 1

10. THOMAS BROOMHALL born about 1809 according to census data, but born March 1815 according to family records. If the 1815 birthdate is correct, then he can't be the son of THOMAS, (son of JOHN) who died in 1812. THOMAS, the son of JACOB (son of JOHN) may have been b. 1818, and may have died young, so, if that fact is true, then this THOMAS is probably the son of JAMES, s.o.

THOMAS died 1889. He was buried January 17, 1889 at Old Kennett Burial Ground. He married (1) May 15, 1841, SARAH ANN NEWBROUGH. She died July 28, 1845, most likely from childbirth. They had 3 children. He married (2) April 17, 1847, LYDIA D. NEWBROUGH, the sister of SARAH, who was born about 1821, and died January 3, 1906. According to his obituary, he "voted for William Henry Harrison and his grandson Benjamin Harrison." He must have had an affinity for the old warrior under which his Uncle Thomas served in the war of 1812, for he names one son William Henry, and another Harrison. Thomas was a nurseryman and florist. He lived in Southern Chester County PA.

Children of THOMAS BROOMHALL and SARAH ANN NEWBROUGH are:
