Doctoring Steers

Sunrise over the ranch. Today we have some steers with foot rot that need to get penicillin injections. Yesterday we cut them out of the herd and moved them into the horse pasture. So today we have to round them up and give them their shots.

 

 

 

 

Here we are gathering the steers in the horse pasture and moving them into the corral.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A neighbor, Julie, has come this morning to help out. In return we will go to her ranch in the afternoon and give her a hand.

Here we are moving the steers into the corral.

"Slow is fast, " Melvin says.

"Use teamwork!"
