We went on a float trip on the Snake River. We floated downriver for
10 miles, within the park. We took the early morning ride, since that is
the best time to see wildlife. We got to see some Eagles and Ospreys and
some other birds, but unfortunately no Moose.
Aren't these life jackets flattering to the figure?
The ride lasted a little over 2 hours. It was a wonderful chance to
see the river up close.
During the trip, the river fell about 200 feet. The rapids were gradual,
so we didn't get wet. For real whitewater rafting, you have to go South
of Jackson. But the portion of the river we saw gave us the best view of
the spectacular mountains.
