Yellowstone

Reed has traveled more widely than I, but he has never seen Grand Teton or Yellowstone before. So he told me that I had to drive today so he could look out the window. We packed a picnic lunch and set out from the Jackson Lake Lodge to do a whirlwind tour of Yellowstone.

Here Reed gets a good look at Old Faithful. Then we took a little hike around some of the other geysers and hot springs.

The neatest thing about Yellowstone is the animals. While we have seen Bison in Zoos and farms, we have never seen so many of them!

Here we get a picture of some Elk.

We didn't see any bears- since the Park has clamped down on feeding the animals, the bears have gone back into the woods where they belong.
